On the 30th of April perched high atop Henderson Waves, at about 10:30am I said “Yes, I do” at the top of my lungs and she reverberated pretty much the same albeit at a lower volume and now is just the beginning of the ‘ever after’.
Things happened quickly, but somehow everything seemed to feel right. Somehow the preview picture of the video is also an accurate presentation of the special relationship that I have with Velia – someone I am ‘over the moon’ to call my wife.
I would like to thank all – my parents, my lovely wife’s folks and my wonderful brothers that have come to our solemnisation. Thank you Kok Leong, Cleo, Nutella (Oops, I meant Natalie – for flying over) John, Sean and your wife-to-be (Hint!), Kitson and Shu Zhen. And not forgetting Joanna Portilla, for being our solemniser.
Every relationship is a work in progress, the most important thing is to always work at it and never give up. I’ve truly found my other half and I thank everyone for being there.
